When working with the new family bathroom design, compact bathroom or even an en-suite, you want to make the most of the bathroom space available. One of the problems we often face when renovating a family bathroom is that some members of the family prefer a bath while the others prefer a shower.
Luckily there is a solution that will not only keep the entire family happy, but will also help you make the most of the space available.
Shower baths come in a choice of design options, helping you blend them in beautifully with the rest of your design. The great thing about these baths is that they come with a shower panel, turning one side of your bath into a shower without the risk of water leaking throughout the bathroom space.
There is nothing stopping you from mounting a shower about your bath and using a shower curtain, but this option is not turn your bathroom into a stylish space, but you also have to worry of leaks on your bathroom floor. With a shower curtain there is always the risk that the curtain is not inside the bath correctly and I cannot count how many times I have had to mop the floor after showering by using a curtain rather than a dedicated shower panel.
As I have already mentioned there are a number of design choices when you are looking at shower baths to add to your bathroom from the stunning Capri designs where the shower side is wider than the remainder of the bath with a clear glass panel to the Napoli design where the shower bath has a wonderful curved design and the shower panel follows this curve.
Keeping Everyone Happy
I know how hard it is to keep the whole family happy. During winter the thought of a long soak in a hot bath is too appealing, but when summer comes you also want the convenience of a quick and cool shower. Many bathrooms can’t have both a bath and shower in the small space, but with shower baths you can enjoy the benefit of having the best of both, keeping everyone in the family happy and enjoying a stylish and elegantly designed shower bath to compliment your bathroom space.
